2 Guys and a Lawnmower, LLC was founded on March 1st 2003 by Matthew K. Cecil and his younger brother Joshua R. Cecil.

Matthew wanted to start a lawn and landscape business for one simple reason, to provide an exceptional service at an affordable price. Since the first day in March 2003, Matthew has held his word while meeting and exceeding his customer’s expectations.

There have been some changes over the years to the 2 Guys and a Lawnmower, LLC team. As Joshua went on to college to complete his degree in civil engineering the business grew rapidly. Matthew started hiring employees and training them in the “We Will Do Whatever It Takes” attitude that 2 Guys and a Lawnmower, LLC has become accustomed to.

Another factor that is unique about 2 Guys and a Lawnmower is the continuing education program that has been set up. All members of the team have completed the Certified Landscape Technician program that is provided through the nationally recognized association, PLANET (Professional Landcare Network). Matthew is also a Certified Landscape professional.
