LANDSCAPE MAINTENANCE
Winter pruning:
1. Removal of all dead limbs and branches.
2. Pruning of all water sprouts.
3. Pruning of all tree and limb suckers.
4. Pruning back or removal of all crossing branches.
5. All tree work to be done in accordance with landscape contract will be done to every tree on property up to twelve feet. All other tree work not in the scope of these services will be done as an additional job and will be charged accordingly.
Spring Clean-up:
1. Clearing and removal of all debris left from winter season. Such as leaves, fallen limbs, and weeds in all mulch beds.
2. Removal of old mulch, this consists of removing the upper layer of mulch that has become compacted due to the winter weather. This will allow the soil to breath, and ensure proper drainage which in turn creates an optimal environment for plant growth.
Mulch Bed Edging:
1. Cutting a defined crisp edge between mulch beds and turf areas.
2. Edges are cut with a flat edge shovel 2”-3” deep to create definition between the landscape and the turf.
Mulching:
1. Spreading an even layer of pre-emergence as to help prevent the growth of weeds in the mulch beds.
2. Laying an even layer of mulch 2”-3” deep.
Summer Trimming:
1. This service happens twice a year once in June and once in August.
2. Trimming of all shrubs in the properties landscape to maintain the desired look of each particular shrub or hedge.
3. Removal of all debris acquired while performing said service.
Leaf Removal:
1. This is the actual act of removing the excessive amount of leaves accumulated during the fall and winter months.
2. This will be preformed as needed to maintain a well manicured property.
Fall Mulch Sprucing:
1. We will use a small manual hand tiller to turn and fluff the existing mulch for a better appearance in the winter months.
2. This will also help the decomposing mulch get closer to the soil surface which will allow the mulch to release its nutrients more efficiently.
Fall Clean-up:
1. This is a general clean-up of the property to keep the property looking well maintained during the fall and winter months.
